Values
Connection + Community
We are a community-driven effort. Our center was created out of the need to be seen, valued, and supported. We build loving and welcoming spaces to foster meaningful relationships that strengthen the LGBTQ+ community.
Safety + Inclusion
We cultivate spaces within our communities where LGBTQ+ people can be their full and authentic selves. We believe that when LGBTQ+ people feel safe and included the whole community thrives.
Pride + Visibility
We celebrate our queer and trans identities and share our experience to demonstrate that LGBTQ+ people are strong, resilient, and worthy of love and respect.
Equity + Advocacy
We believe that LGBTQ+ people should be able to live openly without fear of retaliation, rejection, or discrimination. We promote and protect the rights of LGBTQ+ people by advocating for protections and inclusions within systems that have traditionally excluded LGBTQ+ individuals, queer and trans people of color, people living with HIV, and our LGBTQ+ youth.
History + Legacy
We honor our diverse history and movement. Our fight for liberation began long before the Stonewall Uprising and is strengthened through continued outreach, education, and support of our local LGBTQ+ people and community.
Our Strategies
We create spaces where LGBTQ+ people can cultivate community.
We cultivate growth and leadership opportunities through peer support, education, and advocacy.
We establish community partnerships and learning opportunities to increase acceptance and improve outcomes for LGBTQ+ people.
We provide access to culturally competent healthcare, mental health, and social services to LGBTQ+ people and their communities.
We collaborate with policymakers to ensure our rural communities are not left behind while progressive policies are passed at the state level.
We increase safety and acceptance to visibility, community events, and messaging to celebrate and uplift the experiences of our LGBTQ+ community.
Our Outcomes
Our spaces are celebrated and honored. We are included in our community in true and authentic ways.
We are trusted experts in our LGBTQ+ experience moving from tokenism to authentic leadership.

LGBTQ+ people have access to culturally competent, safe, and affirming health care and mental health services.
Our voices are heard, our community is united, and benefits from the rights and freedoms enshrined in our state laws and protections.
