Beverly Anderson, LMFT #35010
I have more than 20 years of experience working with couples, families, adolescents, children, and individuals and have seen the increase in the need for mental health services within the LGBTQ+ community, especially with regards to those individuals considering or implementing a gender transition.
There is a significant disparity in available mental health services to LGBT individuals and an 8 x 's risk for depression and suicide in this group. I am partnering with the UCSF LGBT Education Resource Center to bring training and build competencies among mental health professionals in Tulare County.
